ON-DEMAND WEBINAR

Engineering immune cell identity: from in vivo immune reprogramming to scalable transcription factor code discovery

While in vivo dendritic cell reprogramming holds transformative potential for cancer immunotherapy, identifying the transcription factor programs required to drive specific immune cell fates remains a major challenge. In earlier work, Prof. Filipe Pereira and colleagues demonstrated that tumor cells can be directly reprogrammed in vivo into dendritic-like cells capable of inducing anti-tumor immunity. Building on this foundation, Prof. Filipe will present how this discovery has evolved into a scalable framework for immune cell engineering.

What you will learn in this webinar?

  • Understand the transition from foundational in vivo reprogramming to scalable immune code discovery.
  • Learn how his team uses defined transcription factor combinations to specify dendritic lineages.
  • Discover how single cell screening platforms enable the systematic optimization of advanced cocktails.
  • Explore how linking genetic blueprints to immune function enables rational cancer therapy design.
