TAKARA BIO - LSCN WORKSHOP
Simplifying hiPSC-based disease modeling
Brought to you by
Takara Bio is proud to be partnering with the London Stem Cell Network (LSCN) to present our first Virtual Workshop on “Simplifying hiPSC-based disease modeling”. The combination of human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) and precise, footprint-free gene editing using CRISPR/Cas9 allows for the generation of disease models essential for advancing our understanding of disease mechanisms and the development of novel therapeutics. However, creating these models can be extremely challenging, as successful gene editing and concurrent establishment of clonal populations can be both inefficient and time consuming.
Please join us for this exciting 2-day virtual event, on 15th & 16th June 2021, to learn more from a number of leading experts on recent advances in this field, to help you optimize and speed up your hiPSC-based disease modeling projects:
- Day 1: Series of talks on the efficient generation of gene-edited hiPS cell lines for disease modeling
- Day 2: Case studies showcasing the use of hiPSC-derived cells to model metabolic diseases
- Panel Discussion/Interactive Q&A session at end of each day, providing you the chance to pose questions to the panel of experts from academia and industry.
- Virtual Kahoot quizzes in between sessions – open to all participants – attendees will have the chance of being crowned the winner in the prize draw finale on Day 2!
We look forward to welcoming you!
